Fir Tree Fishery, Appley Bridge, Wigan - March 2001

A new water for me this week. Desperate to put a bend in my new margin pole (and to catch some fish!), a commercial fishery was the obvious answer. Fan Lodge, Bickershaw, Wigan - March 2001

Wigan & DAA are, for the time being, keeping some waters open during the foot & mouth problem. So Fan Lodge was the venue for this weekend. I'd splashed out a few quid on a margin carp pole a couple of weeks ago and never used it yet, so now seemed like a good time.
